We are currently looking for an experienced Civil Resident Engineer (Water) to form part of our project team, based in Bahrain.

We require an experienced Resident Engineer with Civil background to work on the supervision and commissioning of Water Transmission/Distribution Facilities in Bahrain.
Role:
To manage and implement all aspects of the Quality and HSE management systems and control site supervision service provision in support of the Site Operations Department goals for performance improvement and completion of project functions.
Requirements
Civil degree
Minimum 10 years related experience
Good command of English (written and verbal)
Project Interface
Manage the site supervision of the works designed by Atkins (this is a design and built contract) to ensure compliance with the contract documents.
Liaise with the project supervision team, coordinate and resolve any issues of concern.
Liaise with sub-consultants directly appointed by SNC Lavalin, if any, and manage the supervision of works designed by them.
Functional Duties
The primary responsibilities of the Resident Engineer are as listed below:
Overall management of the Project.
Issue to the contractor the necessary orders and instructions to execute the works in accordance with the Contract Documents. Instruct contractor in writing to take corrective measures to rectify any defective works and or materials. Note any instruction with financial implication must be authorized by the Employer.
Implement the cost control system
Preparation of monthly reports on the status of the project.
Hold Site Technical and Progress Meetings to discuss contractor submissions, Shop Drawings and construction related matters.
Carry out site engineering and inspection roles.
Monitoring of supervision staff to ensure they are adequately carrying out their duties.
Establish a HSE monitoring and reporting system in line with SNC Lavalin and the contractual obligations and responsibilities. Conduct regular HSE tours in conjunction with the Contractor’s safety coordinator.
Establish on site organization and lines of authority.
Review the proposed Senior Staff of the Contractor.
Review & certify Contractors BoQ measurements for executed works
We are currently looking for an experienced Reporting Specialists (Project Controls) to form part of our Project Management Consultant (PMC) project team, based in Medinah, Saudi Arabia.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Generate project reports and distributes to project stakeholders.
Responsible for delivering the project reports, including developing various report formats, dashboards, presentations and others, as required by the project team.
Plans and coordinate with stakeholders as necessary to achieve project reporting objectives.
Assist Project Control Manager on monitoring tasks not limited to data analysis, what if scenarios, identify bottle necks, critical items, claim avoidance strategy and assist follow-up with stakeholders.
Review Consultant / Contractor reports and provide constructive comments for improvement and enhance the report quality and presentation.
Supports Client Leaders with information needed to update the business partners.
Responsible for maintaining the Project Management Information System (PMIS) to support report generations.
Responsible for managing the project reporting requirements, achieve project objectives and escalate issues to Project leadership as necessary.
Should be able to read, understand standard to complex project documents, including but not limited to - agreements/contracts, weekly reports and monthly reports.
Coordinates project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements. Ensures project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated.
Ability to perform Project Controls tasks and able provide leave covers for the planners to seamlessly meet the project deliverables in their absence.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science or a related field experience.
8-10 years of Planning and Reporting experience.
Detailed knowledge of best practice solutions for data management.
Demonstrate an understanding of Data relationships and Data querying.
Automate & simplify processes around data collection, conversion and querying.
Digital Reporting using Power BI, PMWeb and others.
Strong working knowledge on MS Office with an ability to write codes.
Hands on experience in Primavera is essential
Demonstrated knowledge of projects and program management.
Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret the project documents.
Ability to understand effectively to the most sensitive issues.
Assist in writing reports, manuals, procedures and articles using distinctive style. Ability to prepare effective presentation on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups.
