Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic blue trucks to deliver for customers? As our MR/HR Truck Driver, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You’ll be
- Effectively and safely coordinate Truck Deliveries in Mount Kuring - Gai and surrounding area
- Provide exceptional customer service to all clients
- Ensure that the security of all consignments is upheld in line with Company policy
- Complete all dispatch documentation in accordance with Company policy
- Ensure Company equipment and facilities are correctly maintained
- Safely hand loading and unloading of freight
About you
You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.
You’ll also need to
- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Hold a relevant MR/HR license
- Can drive Synchromesh manual truck
- Experience in completing bulk runs (Dropping multiple pallets & cartons)
- Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility
- Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills
- You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 120 kgs or less
- Be fit enough to load and unload parcels of all different shapes, sizes and weights
- Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
