Beaulieu International Group wants to evolve from a production oriented company to a market oriented solution provider. This translates into innovations which are solving real life problems that our markets are experiencing. That is why Beaulieu has set up a dedicated front end innovation process to assure that all development projects support this evolution.
We are looking for support in our front end innovation: For new developments we have a list of ideas. These have to be evaluated in terms of market attractiveness, market size, fit with the Beaulieu strategy and Beaulieu’s 2030 sustainability roadmap, problem quantification, known solutions and ability to win. The output of this evaluation is a score card and a basic pitch for a new development project.
In our front end innovation, we usually score the idea, then a market validation is done and in case of positive outcome a development project is defined.
Responsibilities
• You help exploring one or more front end ideas
- You search in different information sources (competitor websites, customer websites, patents, market intelligence reports, …). You brief & organize to come to comprehensive insights on the specific topic/idea. During your work you will be coached and challenged by our internal experienced team.
- You search for an answer on the following questions for a certain idea:
- The basic pitch: "We help who at which company to solve which problem by what solution"
- Market size: what is the addressable market, what is the current market share?
- Market attractiveness (CAGR)?
- How have others tried to solve this problem?
- Sustainability fit: does the idea contribute to the wider BIG strategy?
- Sustainability fit: how the idea contribute to a carbon neutral BIG by 2030?
Requirements
• You are a strong communicator, ready to take the lead in searching activities in front end innovation.
- You enjoy working with (or are eager to learn) market intelligence tools, visiting fairs, customers, partners in close collaboration with our business development and R&D team.
- You are a proactive self-starter, with a curious mind-set to challenge the status-quo.
- You love a challenge, and you deliver with your can-do attitude
- Your background can be either economical or financial, but also technical profiles with a strong interest in market information are welcome

You will be supported by an enthusiastic team, who could become your colleagues one day!
We are flexible in when you start, but would like to have you with us for a minimum of 6-8 weeks, even up to 4-6 months. This can be in a full-time schedule or during some days a week.
